Unfired Browning model 1886 saddle ring carbine .45-70 lever action rifle
Description:
Selling a Browning model 1886 saddle ring carbine. This is .45-70 caliber. The previous owner said the rifle had never been fired. It does not appear to be fired, but I can't guarantee that. This is a 22" barrel gun. It has the flip up rear site mounted on the receiver. The gun is in excellent condition, with 1 exception. It has a small nick that is on the stock. It is shown in the photos..
John M Browning designed the original model 1886 guns and sold the patent to Winchester (who produced the rifle). Browning made a number of these in the late 1980s and early 1990s as a 100 year commemorative. These guns are beautifully made at the Mirokou factory in Japan.
I put this listing up for my dad. It is his gun. He can be reached at 404-275-4084 his name is Craig.
Shipping will be $50. It will be shipped through a local professional pack and shipped company,, and fully insured. He will ship only to an FFL. You are also welcome to come see it at his home in Hershey, PA. Only reason he's selling is he recently purchased a model 32 Kreighoff and doesn't have room in his safe.
The price is dropped to $2100. Credit cards NOT accepted. This is a private seller.
