Browning SA Takedown .22 LR Belgium made
Description:
SOLD PF to Chad *** This is a Browning Belgian made .22 LR Semi-Auto Takedown rifle. On the top of the barrel it is marked “Browning Arms Company St. Louis Mo & Montreal P.Q. / Made In Belgium” The left side of the barrel reads. “.22 Long Rifle” The right side of the barrel reads Browning Patents. The receiver is hand engraved with scroll and border. The underside of the receiver is marked with three proofs. It comes in its factory box with the end label, the owner's manual and the factory warrantee registration card dated December 4, 1963. The front sight is a dovetailed blade and the rear sight is a flip up sight adjustable for elevation. There are grooves on top of the receiver for adding a scope. It has attractive wood with hardly any blemishes. The blueing is 100%. The gun has been shot hardly at all. The last owner did not fire it in the 22 years he owned it and I have not fired it in the time I have owned it. We don't know if the first owner fired it, but if so he didn't fire it very much. The bore is bright and shiny. He did however put green felt in the factory box to protect the finishes, a nice touch.
