Description: Sold Pending Funds---Scarce Browning SA22 takedown rifle chambered in .22 Short cartridge. Rifle remains unfired in numbered to gun box with manual and owners papers. I had to clean off factory packing grease to take photos of gun and assembly for first time since factory. This model is based on a John Moses Browning patent and has been in production since 1914 and first shipped to US shooters in 1956. The bottom ejection of spent cartridges allows ambidextrous operation and leaves open panels on receiver sides for tasteful factory engraving. Rifle wears a 19.25 inch Blued barrel and checkered Walnut stock with flip up adjustable sights. Fun plinking at targets or hunting small game with the .22 short round is good stuff and a perfect gun to train young shooters.
