Unmarked Browning High Wall Pattern Model Schu

Description:
Marked "3" on the underside of the barrel, "38–55" on the upper left flat, "P" on the front of the receiver, with no other markings. Dovetailed globe, front sight and two scope blocks on the barrel, adjustable peep rear sight on the Tang, punch-dot backed scroll engraving on the sides of the receiver, double set trigger, and hand rest trigger guard. Smooth, straight, wrist stock, with an ebony inlaid Schnabel tip, forearm with hinged palmrest, large right handed cheek piece, and an engraved brass Swiss-style, buttplate with threaded top hook.

Fine as refinished, with areas of brown patina, strong case colors on the receiver, and mild handling marks overall. Stock is fair, with cracks around the palm rest, scuffs and dents. Set trigger needs adjustment, otherwise mechanically functional.
