The X-Bolt is designed from the ground up to provide the best out-of-the-box accuracy on the market. The rifle features a bedded action that allows the barrel to free-float, ensuring minimal interference with barrel harmonics to allow for repeatable accuracy shot after shot. The X-Bolt also features Browning‚s patented X-Lock scope mounting system that utilizes four screws per base compared to the traditional two, allowing for accurate and rock-solid attachment of optics to the receiver. A short, 60-degree throw is also incorporated, allowing for fast cycling without interfering with mounted optics.

The High Grade Hunter Full Line Dealer model features an oil-finished Grade III/IV Walnut stock along with an accented rosewood forearm and grip caps. An octagon-profile barrel provides additional stiffness for greater accuracy. This model is chambered in .270 Winchester and features a 22-inch barrel. One 4-round magazine is included.
