Description: BROWNING MODEL 1886 LEVER ACTION RIFLE IN .45-70 Here is another one we have to offer. Made in Japan by Miroku Firearms Mfg. Company, This is a copy of the Winchester Model 1886 rifle it features a 26" octagon barrel, full magazine, dove tail front sight, semi buckhorn rear sight, blue finish, walnut stock with rifle butt plate and matching forearm. These were made on the 100th anniversary of the original Winchester 1886 in a limited number. It is a very close copy of the original rifle I feel these are as close to the original Winchester 1886 as is available. The only real difference that I can see is the stocks tend to be a little thicker when compared to an original 1886. Original Winchester 1886 rifle in good shape and usable are fairly expensive when compared to a copy like this. Owning an original you might be reluctant to expose it to harsh weather or damage you might encounter on a hunt or in the field. With this rifle you will be able to have an almost exact copy of the 1886 but in virtually new condition. CONDITION: Excellent near new. Mint bore Stock shows one scratch on the right side and a couple of light bumps under the fore arm otherwise, near new with light handling. This rifle has a swivel eye installed on the bottom of the but stock and comes without a box.
