"British BSA Co. Lee Speed Sporting rifle .303 British (R40448) Consignment

Description:
"

Serial No. C691, circa 1900's, .303 British, 21"" round barrel. A presentation plate is attached to the left side of the butt stock and reads. ""Presented To/Lt. Col. E. Fremen/By/Earl Sondes/For Service in South Africa/Feb. 1900"". Bluing on barrel is starting to thin in some areas. Stock shows light handling wear with wear noted in the forearm checkering. Bore is good with frosting noted in the grooves, rifling remains strong.
