Description: This is a BSA Target 22LR Made by Birmingham Small Arms Co Ltc in England. This is the model 8 with the shorter 25" barrel. The barrel has a mirror finish with strong rifling. This rifle has the target tang mounted rear peep sight with vernier incremental adjustments which work very nicely. Estimated to be manufactured between 1909 and 1940 probably in the 1920's based on the serial #. Everything works properly and is in mechanically very good condition. the action snaps open and closed and is tight. The stock has many handling dings and dents but no structural issues.
