BSA Martini 22LR Target Rifle

PRICE REDUCED.  This BSA Martini single shot target rifle has a somewhat heavy contour 29 inch barrel, aperture adjustable target rear sight (elevation marks on the left side of the receiver) and target front globe sight which uses front sight blade inserts.  The rifle came with 3 inserts, and the brass screw cap on the bottom of the forend, just in front of the action, holds the extra globe sight inserts.  The action is tight, the trigger is a match grade trigger, the barrel bore is mirror bright and the rifling is in excellent condition.  The rifle shoots very well with match ammo, it especially likes SK Rifle Match.  The metal is all in very good condition, with some minor handling marks you expect on a rifle this age.  The wood stocks could use being refinished.  I didn’t worry about that as I am focused on shooting and the rifle shoots well.  There is a little V shape piece of wood out of the stock on the right hand side at the back of the receiver – there is a close-up of that in the photos.  This has not had any effect on using the rifle or its accuracy.
