"Excellent 5th Model Burnside Civil War Carbine (AL6943)

"

This Burnside is in the condition collectors love to see. It has an excellent 54 caliber bore with bright strong rifling. The barrel has approx. 98% blue. The receiver, hammer, butt plate have strong case colors. The top of the breech, the lever, and tangs have their bright blue with the upper tang having scattered loss. The stocks are excellent with two strong cartouches. The nipple looks new. The action functions correctly. You would never need to upgrade this Model 1864 Burnside carbine.
