EXCELLENT CIVIL WAR BURNSIDE PERCUSSION CAVALRY SADDEL RING CARBINE CA. 1863. 21” round .54 cal. barrel stamped “CAST STEEL 1862” on top. Lock plate stamped “BURNSIDE RIFLE CO/PROVIDENCE, R.I.”. Excellent all matching and all original condition with 95% blue and much original case hardening. Screws with most of the original blue Stock and forend with all the original finish and a mint Ordnance Inspector’s cartouche. Very superior example with mint bore and in perfect working order. Superior example of this highly desirable Civil War carbine.
