Offered for sale is a Bushmaster XM15-E2S semi-automatic rifle chambered in .223 Remington/5.56mm NATO.
This rifle is configured in a CMP/National Match-style service-rifle setup. It features an approximately 20-inch heavy barrel with a plain target-style muzzle, fixed A2 stock, fixed carry handle, adjustable rear sight, protected front sight and rifle-length handguards.
The ventilated upper handguard reveals an internal metal free-float tube beneath the exterior handguards. This type of system is commonly used on competition service rifles to reduce the effect of sling pressure on the barrel. The carry-handle rear sight also appears to be a match-style adjustable unit.
The lower receiver is marked with the Bushmaster logo, serial number L080547, “CAL. 223-5.56MM” and “MOD. XM15-E2S.” The opposite side is marked “B.F.I., WINDHAM, ME., U.S.A.”
The rifle is in very good overall cosmetic condition. The matte black finish remains strong, with scattered light scratches, handling marks and minor edge wear. The stock, pistol grip and handguards show light use. The receiver markings remain clear and legible.
One detachable magazine with a decorative “1776” and rattlesnake design is included.
Visible features are consistent with a CMP/National Match-style service rifle. Please review all photographs carefully.
