Description:
The Century Arms L1A1 Sporter is a semi-automatic rifle based on the L1A1 SLR, the "Inch Pattern" variant of the famous FN FAL. These rifles were primarily assembled or imported by Century Arms International (CAI)between 1989 and 1994, often utilizing a mix of surplus parts and new receivers. The L2A2 Sight Unit Infantry Trilux (SUIT) is a 4x magnification prism sight developed in the United Kingdom in the 1970s. Originally designed to improve the night-fighting and long-range target identification capabilities of standard infantry, it was primarily used with the L1A1 Self-Loading Rifle (SLR) and the L7 General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG). [1, 2, 3, 4] Appears to be an Aussie kit built on a Century Receiver. See pics for condition.
