For sale is a Century Arms M70AB2 semi-automatic rifle, chambered in the iconic 7.62x39mm cartridge. This rifle is in great used condition and is built on the legendary Yugoslavian M70 platform—widely regarded as one of the finest quality AK-pattern rifles in the world. Featuring the distinctive underfolding metal stock, this "Paratrooper" style rifle offers exceptional compactness and rugged reliability.
The M70AB2 is built around a beefy 1.5mm thick receiver—thicker than standard AK receivers—providing enhanced durability. It features a 16.25-inch barrel with a 1:9.5 twist rate, topped with a removable slant muzzle brake that helps counter muzzle climb. The rifle includes a bayonet lug and an under-barrel cleaning rod. The elongated handguard with three cooling slots offers better protection from barrel heat and provides a longer, more comfortable support-hand purchase area. The ergonomic synthetic pistol grip provides a firm, comfortable hold. The rifle is finished in a Battlefield Pick-Up (BFPU) style finish, giving it the look and character of a well-worn military rifle.
