This is an as new Chapuis 450/400 nitro express double rifle. I bought this rifle in hopes of going to Africa and a double rifle in this caliber was my dream. Things in life happen though and I need to let some things go for now. This is literally a brand new in the box Chapuis in 450/400. I bought it just over a year ago and have only test fired it 4 times the day I bought it. This rifle is a true working rifle with few frills and fancies. It has one standing sight for 50 yards and 3 folding sights marked for 100, 150, and 200 yards. It also has a Holland and Holland style flip over night sight. The checkering and case coloring remain at 100%. There are absolutely no blemishes on this rifle as it has remained in its case since I bought it. It comes in a Negrini ABS carry case that is the same one from the factory and has the Chapuis logo. Also included is the original paper target from the factory. Regulated for Hornady 400 grain 450/400 3" shells.This is a truly beautiful rifle that was made to be put to work.
Being in the military, I will be gone for training March- June.
