Guns International #: 101179111
Seller's Inventory #: AL4310
Confederate Morse Carbine. Scarce gun. This is a nice example with a smooth brown patina on the barrel. Frame is very good with a nice even patina. Bolt has been repaired and the repair is almost undetectable. It was very common for these to break and most of the Morse carbines out there have been repaired. Wood is very good. Ram rod tip is a replacement. Morse carbines were made on machinery captured by the Confederates during the Harpers Ferry raid.
