Description:
"Serial number 3532. Made in 1863. 44 RF caliber with a 24.25" barrel. This is a martially marked Henry rifle with the “HC" and “CGC" marking on the right hand side. This gun has a brown patina throughout. All markings are sharp and clear. The frame of this gun has a dark mustard colored patina. The wood is very good with minor handling wear. This gun is all matching including the stock and the butt screws. The screws on the tang are un-numbered as they were never numbered in this serial range. This gun was issued to a member of the Company F of 97th Indiana Volunteer Infantry. Very Fine example of Martial Henry!
