 A U.S. Civil War Military Issued Starr Percussion Carbine In Fine Untouched Condition. Made by "Starr Arms Co.,Yonkers N.Y." Serial # 2024, all matching numbers.The carbine has fine metal, markings, and edges. It is U.S. Sub Inspected. All of the metal on the carbine has a fine untouched natural brown color to it with some areas showing hints of original color on them. It has fine wood throughout with nice edges and a wonderful color to it. There are two clear U.S. Inspectors Cartouches on the backside of the wood opposite the lock. The bore and action are both fine in the gun. This Is A Very Fine Throughout Example Of An Early U.S. Military Issued Civil War Percussion Starr Carbine!
