A Scarce U.S. Civil War Military Starr Cartridge Carbine In Fine Plus To Excellent Condition. Made by "Starr Arms Co., Yonkers N.Y." Serial # 32,029, all matching numbers. Only 5002 were made. The carbine has excellent metal, markings, and edges. It is U.S. Sub Inspected.The barrel on the carbine has excellent original factory blue on it. The frame & breech retain their original darkening case colors throughout them. It has excellent wood throughout with nice edges. The bore and action are both excellent in the gun. This Is An Excellent Throughout Example Of A Scarce U.S. Civil War Military Starr Cartridge Carbine!
