An Early and Scarce U.S. Civil War Second Model Burnside Carbine

An Early And Scarce U.S. Civil War Second Model Burnside Carbine In All Original Relic Condition. Serial #1835, all matching numbers. Only 2,000 made from 1860-1862. The carbine has good relic metal and markings throughout. All of the metal on the gun has an even and very dark patina on it. It also has natural pitting in areas from laying in one spot. The original wood is good throughout showing natural wear on the back of the butt. It appears that the carbine was used for a long time with no butt plate as the wood has worn over he entire butt area as shown in the pictures. This gun was bought by me at the Georgia Show two weeks ago and was most likely Confederate Used during the war at some time. This Is A Very Good Looking U.S. Civil War Relic Second Model Burnside Carbine In Very Untouched Condition!
