  An Early & Scarce U.S. Civil War 1st Type Merrill Carbine In Fine Untouched Condition. Serial #6,251 with all matching numbers. It has fine metal, with crisp markings, & edges on it. All the metal on the carbine has a fine darkening natural patina on it. It has fine original wood throughout with very good edges. The brass trigger guard, barrel band, butt plate, and patch box are all fine throughout with a wonderful color to them. Both the bore and action in it are fine. This Is A Very Early & Desirable U.S. Civil War 1st Type Merrill Carbine With A Wonderful Untouched Look To It.!
