Post-Civil War late 1860’s conversion to cartridge for re-issue for service in the Indian Wars. All matching very good to fine with nice blue mixed with patina. Stock and forend with the original finish. Nice “ESA” Ordnance Inspection cartouche on left butt stock. Toe of stock with old solid repairExcellent markings and patent dates on frame.
