Civil War Starr Percussion Carbine

Description:
Starr Percussion Saddle Ring Carbine, .54 Caliber Paper/Linen Cartridge, serial number 20,XXX. Falling Breech Block, 21” bbl, folding V rear sight, brass crescent buttplate. Walnut stocks are in good condition. Inspector mark on barrel & proof stamps remain highly visible. Frame metal is in fair condition with use marks on top of breech block. Barrel retains a nice dark brown patina. Overall a good example of a Civil War Starr Carbine.
