Gallagher patent carbine manufactured by Richardson & Overman of Philadelphia, .50 cal percussion, breech loader, 22-1/4” barrel has some pitting on the under side, almost unnoticeable. The lock plate, barrel and receiver are smooth with no pitting. The hammer has had some pitting. Serial #11515. The markings on the lock are clearly readable. The stock is original with no chips or cracks. Both front and rear sight are missing. Very nice strong bright and shinny bore with crisp rifling.
