Description: This is a high-grade, Remington Type 1 Model 1863 Split Breech Carbine. It is in nearly excellent condition showing most of its case hardening. the stock has some minor dings and scratches. The bore is excellent and the action functions correctly. Most of these guns were delivered too late in the war to be issued. Shipping is $45.00 to the lower 48. AL, CA, HI, OR and WA pay $65.00 via USPS Priority Mail including tracking and insurance.
