Civil War Smith Carbine in very fine condition. 50 caliber, percussion, breechloader. Serial #963x. Original in every way and has not been refinished whatsoever. Sling swivel. Clear cartouche. Proper inspector marks throughout. Significant case colors on the right side of the receiver. The barrel has aged handsomely in to a purple/blue appearance. Nice blueing on the top latch and the strip rear area of the back of the receiver. Both stock and fore-end wood are in very fine original condition. My pictures do not capture all the original finish unfortunately. This Smith is far and away the best value of any Smith currently being offered. $1,800. Shipping $35. Antique so no FFL needed.
