An Early U.S. Civil War Military Issued Percussion Gallager Carbine In Good Untouched Condition. Serial #17,275, all matching numbers. All original and complete. The carbine has good metal, markings, and edges. It is U.S. Sub Inspected on the parts. All of the metal on the carbine has a dark chocolate brown untouched patina throughout it. All of the screws are also good. The wood is good throughout with nice edges. It has a clear U.S. Inspectors Cartouches on the back side of the wood behind the saddle bar. There is an old tight repair in the wrist of the gun that was done a very long time ago. The Carbine has a fine bright bore and a tight action. It has a new percussion nipple in it. This Is A Very Good Looking And Untouched U.S. Civil War Military Issued Gallager Carbine!
