Very Good Standard Model Gallager Carbine

Description:
?Reduced Really nice example of a Standard model Gallager carbine. These .50 caliber breechloaders used a foil, paper or brass cartridge and percussion cap. This example has very good metal, with no pitting. Just age freckling. Stock is good plus, with age related dings and initials JAC on left side. Small chip ahead of saddle ring bar. The bore in the 22" barrel is very shootable, with good rifling and scattered light pitting. Action functions as it should and locks up tight. $1250 + Shipping.
