Believe it has been shot at least once in its lifetime not to sure. Does have engravings to support authenticity such as USTATES carved/printed under the stock. The crown emblem is on the metal piece above the name of the rifle, and lastly has the numbers 3459 that bring up this rifle when searching online and other sources. It is a very nice rifle considering the age and has some rust on the butt of the stock and around the nameplate.
