Description:
"Serial number 7076. Made in 1864. 44 RF caliber with a 24.25" barrel. The barrel is very sharp and has a gray patina. There is one spot right before the barrel before the part that turns that has been cleaned. The barrel address is sharp and clear. The frame is very good. There was a sight notch added in the frame that had been plugged. The stock is very good. This gun is all matching. Interestingly, this is one serial number away from a documented 3rd Veteran Volunteers gun. Very nice example of a Henry rifle in the 3rd Veteran Volunteers range!
