Barrel is dark brown patina with ""V/P/EAGLE"", rear sight has been removed. Lock plate is marked ""Eagle/C.S.A-FAYETTEVILLE"" forward of S contour hammer. Rear is marked ""1864"". Stock has some wood loss rear of the bolster and nipple from usage, a light coat of varnish has been applied.original Confederate sling is attached, action is loose at full cock.
