"NSN, circa 1864, .58 caliber,40"" round rifled barrel. Bore is good with strong rifling visible. Metal is still bright with a small percentage of patina noted. Stock is very good with minimal handling and usage wear noted. Handsome cartouches are also present. Action holds at half and full cock. Beautiful example of a Colt Civil War rifle!
