Receiver is a light grey patina with traces of case coloring noted in protected areas. Appropriate Sharp stamps are visible on the receiver. Stock has expected nicks, dings and mars. Bore is good with frosting/light pitting visible in the grooves. Action functions correctly, a nice example of a civil war carbine!
