All original and matching with all the original parts including the ramrod. Lock dated 1863. Stock with circular Birmingham Small Arms Co. cartouche on butt stock. Export proofs at left breech. Light to moderate wear overall with dark metal patina as one would expect from a CSA issue. From an old collection in Southern Maryland. Working order with dark bore. 100% original.
