Description:
Original Antique Civil War era Confederate Tower musket dated 1862.  Lock is marked with Tower 1862 and the British Crown and functions. The three band full  Stock is in fair condition showing much use with  many dents, abrasions, chips and possible repairs.  The barrel has both front And working rear sights.  The barrel and lock have a dark brown patina,  The but plate, trigger guard and nose cap are brass. The 39" barrel has the 25/25 and I think Birmingham proofs. The trigger guard is marked LSM for the Louisiana State Militia. Missing top band and ram rod. Fair overall antique condition.  .
