Civil War used Auctrain 1829 musket

A historic and unusal Austrian model 1829 converted to percussion of bout  70 cal, as  many of these were converted by the Confederacy and many were bought just before the civil war from the Belgian especialy Virginia  who also bought Brown Besss converted to percussion in Belgium usually the are unmarked Wiped all marks removed. With a 44" smooth bore musket with a clean but corroded barrel. Lock works well and the European hardwood is very clean, and may have had an added finishes with a trumpet shaped ram-rod.These were finished in the white as all military long arms of the time. Overall a very clean scarce example.When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith  before  shooting.
