Early production Cook & Brother carbine,. The lock plate is stamped “Cook & Brother/ NO. 1862/ 69. To the rear of the hammer is a depiction of the Confederate First National Flag. This example has all of the early features including the iron swivel ramrod, brass trigger guard, brass but plate, pinched front sight and folding rear sight. Refinished dark walnut stock in nice condition, barrel has a nice brown patina. Lock is strong and functional and Bore is dirty with no rifling. As is - No returns
