On Hold Sale Pending US Harpers Ferry Model 1842 Civil War era musket in 69 caliber. This was purchased from a which listed as a barn found musket. The functioning lock is marked Harpers Ferry 1851 and has been cleaned with pitting. The full length barrel with bayonet lug and other parts are brown with scattered pitting. The full length walnut stock is good but shows heavy use with numerous dents and dings and heavy erosion behind the hammer and nipple. This old musket appears to have seen heavy use during the Civil War and beyond. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Shipping will be actual cost by priority insured mail with tracking.
