Comes with reproduction leather sling. Rear part of the lockplate dated 1861. The forward part of the lockplate marked with "Eagle" "U.S. Springfield". Action has working half cock with a decent percussin cap nipple.The barrel is mostly brown/gray and some pitting
in bolster area, from heavy use. The bore has traces of rifling and somewhat rusty.. Lockplate is gray to brown with some pitting. The stock has nicks and dings. Middle band is replaced and missing the ramrod. A Civil War musket that certainly had service time with an 1861 date.... .2nd firearm ships FREE, with this one!....S/H $55....Thanks, Greg #548-554
