U.S. MODEL 1819 HALL BREECHLOADING RIFLE WITH ARSENAL CONVERISON TO PERCUSSION

Description:
.52 caliber, tip up breechloading mechanism, 32 5/8" barrel secured by three bands pinned to the barrel. Converted to percussion The breechblock marked "J.H. HALL/ H FERRY/U.S./ 1834" . Iron mounts and full length walnut stock. In very fine overall condition with the barrel, receiver, and breech showing a pleasing brown patina. The stock showing handling marks from use and a very old period repair at the top near the back of the breech. Mechanically excellent.
