The Br47 is designed to offer users the ergonomics of CMMG‚s famous Mk47 platform in the form of an old-school style rifle. The rifle uses a unique compact direct impingement system that allows for the rifle to cycle without the need of a buffer system, allowing the Br47 to use traditional rifle stocks, while also keeping the overall weight of the rifle low vs heavier gas piston actions. The Br47 comes with a Magpul SGA stock and is compatible with most Remington 870 stocks; and like the Mk47, it also takes AK-pattern magazines. The full-length top picatinny rail and M-LOK handguard provide ample space for accessory mounting while the AK style mag release, reversible cross-bolt safety, and non-reciprocating reversible forward side charger allow for easy conversion to left-handed use. The rifle also features CMMG‚s ZEROD SVD muzzle brake that is compatible with A2 suppressor mounts.

This model features a 14.3-inch barrel with a pinned muzzle device along with a Midnight Bronze Cerakote finish. Two 10-round Magpul PMAG AK magazines are included.
