For sale is a CMMG MK4 AR-15 rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. The rifle is finished in a Patriot Brown cerakote. This rifle is an excellent value for the price, including many upgraded components over a standard mil-spec rifle from other manufacturers. For instance, the rifle features a standard 16" barrel length, but with a lighter-weight medium profile, versatile 1:7 twist rate, and optimal modern mid-length gas system for a soft recoil impulse and reliable cycling. The rifle also features a 15" free-floating aluminum handguard with M-lok mounting surfaces all the way around, except for the full-length picatinny top rail; these give nearly infinite possibilities for mounting various accessories to the rifle. The bolt carrier group is chrome-lined for longevity and finished in a durable and oil-porous phosphate finish. The rifle does feature mil-spec controls, such as the single-stage trigger, non-ambidextrous magazine release, bolt catch, and safety, and charging handle. However, the rifle is set up with a CMMG Zeroed pistol grip, extended trigger guard, and lightweight polymer dust cover. This rifle appears to be in lightly-used condition, and the receivers, barrel, and small parts show little wear. However, the crown (visible through the A2 flash hider) does have some surface rust, indicating that the rifle was likely not cleaned and stored properly. The barrel's inside surfaces are rust- and pitting-free, though, and there does not seem to be any rust visible anywhere else on the rifle. This rifle includes one 30-round Magpul M2 PMag magazine, but does not come with a case or box. 5.56X45
