Description:
Cogswell and Harrison .475 Nitro Double with strong bores. The 25 inch barrels have mild frosting in the groves, but rifling is very good from one end to the another. Sights are 1 standing 2 folding to 300 yards. Barrels have crisp lettering with excellent blue. Wood and checkering is excellent. Length of pull is 14 3/8 inchs over a 3/4 inch decellerator pad.. Rifle weight is 11 1/2 pounds. Locks up tight as new. This is a serious African Double Rifle in a super caliber at a great price. Supplied with a box of ammo (custom loads - shoot at your own risk or use componenets to hand load) Cogswell Cerificate of origin indicates completion 25 January 1912. English sling eyes.
