Colt Lightning Rifle 44-40

Description:
This is a nice Colt medium frame lightning rifle chambered in the hard to find 44-40 caliber. It exhibits an overall plum patina finish with very nice marking and a proud clear rampant Colt on the receiver. It has a special orderextra length 26" full octagon barrel that shows good rifling. The wood shows a deep chocolate color and fits nicely with a sliver missing at the left tang. The action cycles crisply and completes this rare rifle.
