Two Pre-Ban 1974 Vintage Colt SP1 AR-15s chambered in .223 Remington w/ 20" Barrels

Description: Here is a pair of excellent condition pre-ban Colt SP1s with a unique history. These one-owner AR15 Sporters were purchased together new in 1974 and are only 1 number apart from each other. They were purchased to arm former Israeli Military personnel working as security guards for an Eastern Kentucky Coal Company during a United Mine Workers Strike. The guard’s road “shotgun” in the coal trucks. They have been well cared for and only shot on several occasions. They are being consigned for sale by the original owner. All we did was knock the coal dust off of them. We are selling these individually or as a pair. Pictures #3-12 are of SN#SP41115 and pictures #13-22 are of SN#SP41113. Both SP1s are all-original and in excellent condition overall. They both feature 20" chrome lined 1:12 twist barrels, triangular handguards, USGI slings, A1 sights, A1 fixed stocks, and 20 round Colt magazines. Both rifles have tons of character with only scattered minor handling marks throughout. The bores are immaculate on both rifles with razor-sharp rifling and no visible imperfections. The internals of both rifles are in excellent condition with very little wear on the trigger assemblies and BCGs. Both rifles function flawlessly. The only one that's still for sale is SN SP41115.
