MEDIUM FRAME COLT LIGHTNING RIFLE IN 32 WCF

Description:
26 inch round barrel rifle chambered in 32 WCF caliber with a bright shiny near excellent bore. Sights include a blade front and flattop sporting rear. Barrel and full length magazine tube are a gray/brown patina with some blue in the protected areas. This is the First Type Receiver with the partial exposed bolt visible through the open ejection port on the top. It has traces of blue in the protected areas with some thinning and fading to a gray/brown. More gray on the right side and more brown on the left side. Loading gate is gray. Hammer has traces of case colors. There are a couple buggered screws. Walnut stocks are in good condition with some minor handling mars. This has the early type checkered forearm with worn checkering. Crescent rifle style buttplate. Nice functioning action. Complete with Colt Factory Letter stating 1886 manufacture date.
