D2D has completed over 35,000 offerings during the past 22 years of business! We offer you a “Pre-Ban” Colt AR-15 A2 Early Sporter II Version 5.56 .223 Semi Automatic Rifle. This Colt was a one owner gun. It was bought new, used a few times then put away until now. Unfortunately the box and accessories could not be located for the rifle. The factory cleaning kit is with it and is still sealed. The left side of the receiver is marked with the rampant Colt logo – COLT / AR15 A2 / CAL. .223 / SPORTER II / SER SP 311086”. Farther back “COLT’S FIREARM DIVISION / COLT INDUSTRIES / HARTFORD, CONN. / U.S.A. / FIRE / SAFE”. The top of the barrel is marked “C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7”. This Sporter II is in excellent condition inside and out. There is one very light surface mark on the receiver as shown. The rest of the gun is in excellent as you can see in the pictures as is the bore. ***PLEASE NOTE*** As with most estate gun this one has been sitting for decades and will lubed up before use. This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $55. It will be shipped in a double walled foam lined cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe.
