Colt Sauer ~ Sporting Rifle ~ .30-06 Springfield

Description:
This special rifle was a joint effort between Colt Firearms and J.P. Sauer & Sohn, created about 1975 in what was West Germany with old world craftsmanship and understated elegance. Highly regarded by discerning riflemen, this rifle features exceptionally deep bluing, and a sculpted receiver, rings, and bases. The walnut stock has a Monte Carlo comb, 18 line hand checkering, and a sleek forend for weight savings. The butter-smooth bolt has 3 internally cammed locking lugs that lock up tight to machined recesses in the receiver. It also features a single stack magazine for convenience. A proven rifle in a classic all-around cartridge, the original and only owner told us he'd quickly put down two New Mexico Oryx with this, his favorite rifle. .30-06 Springfield
