Description:

This very scarce Waffenfabrik Bern K31 rifle, cal. 7.5x55mm, numbered as a commercial firearm as reflected by the “P” serial number prefix, was one of just 500 pieces made to commemorate 50 years of production, from 1931-1981. Standard configuration straight pull carbine with 1-15 rear sight, matching barrel, bolt, and magazine. Chamber embellished with gold inlaid “365” along with Swiss Cross in Shield over chamber surmounting “Jubilaums –Karabiner”. Special gold plaque inset into the right side of buttstock referencing 50th year commemorative as made by Waffenfabrik Bern, adjacent military inspection marking that breaks through the finish. Blued steel and brass muzzle cap with Swiss Cross. Import mark under stacking rod and safety. Complete with factory braided sling.

Condition:
