Cooper Model 22 .22-250 single shot. Made in 1996, serial 12-OF-25 has a 24-inch tapering medium sporter barrel (.665-inch muzzle diameter, recessed crown). Features include a polished blue finish, three-panel checkered bolt knob and tuned trigger. STOCK: Shaped from a select walnut blank with dramatic sunburst and wearing a satin finish, dressings include an ebony forend tip, 24 lines-per-inch borderless checkering accented with ribbons and diamond points, scalloped cheek rest with shadow line, skeleton grip cap, skeleton butt plate, inletted sling swivel studs and timed screws. No box or papers. ACCURACY: The factory test target shows a ragged hole (three shots, HSM with 42-grain Calhoun). DIMENSIONS: Weight is 8.0 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.5 inches. CONDITION: The bore is outstanding, strong and bright. Bolt close is stiff. Metal finish is approximately 98 percent with minor rubs on the guard and knob. Wood is the same owing to a few minor impressions. The price is firm and layaway is available. $3,750 plus shipping.
